Complements to the performances

1) Virtual encounters before performances:
To prepare for school classes coming to our performances, we offer teachers an opportunity to meet the artists in the productions. Lasting one hour, they take place through a Zoom meeting (reservations are required).

2) Pedagogical dossiers:
It includes:
- a general dossier on the 2020-2021 season
- dossiers about each Program (updated with new information when it is available; we advise consulting them regularly)

3) Bords de scène (Onstage) with the dancers:
After each school performances, company dancers, sometimes accompanied by members of our artistic staff, will answer students’ questions. This exchange lasts around 20 mn (reservation is required) and takes place in the theatre space of the Opéra national de Lorraine.

4) CCN – Ballet de Lorraine visit / available options:

Discovery: On the day of the performance or on another day of your choice, we offer a visit backstage at the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine. On the program: an exploration of the structure and the different professions, a visit of the building with the possibility of watching our company dancers at work.

A thematic visit: If students have already experienced a “Discovery” visit during previous seasons, we can re‑focus the visit differently, featuring certain aspects of each profession, stages in artistic creation, or tips on better understanding and viewing the performances.

The “Discovery” and “Thematic” visits are free if the students will be attending school or non‑scholastic performances. Limited to one visit per class per season (dates to be chosen per our artistic and technical calendar).
And if you cannot come to the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine, a member of our staff can set up a “virtual” visit in your establishment.
